SpeakAtClub

Your club’s app on every phone

Each club gets its own installable website—home-screen icon, club name, no App Store listing to manage. Members open agendas and check in from a phone, turn on push notifications if they want, and still find the same notices in the site inbox when a push is missed.

Agenda signup and check-in when nobody brought a laptop

Sign up for a role while you’re standing in line, check in at the door, or vote on Table Topics without hunting for a laptop—or asking the VPE to do it for you.

  • Agendas, role signup, and speech details sized for a small screen
  • Meeting-night check-in and voting that work on a phone
  • Officers can start the meeting, take attendance, and run the timer from a phone when the club laptop isn’t available

Install for your club

When members want a home-screen icon, they tap Get the app (Add to Home Screen on iPhone, Install on Android/Chrome)— no App Store listing for the club to maintain. The icon uses the club name and opens that club’s site—not a generic SpeakAtClub app. After install, they can turn on push so role and meeting reminders show up on the phone as well as in email.

  • One install per club URL (e.g. speakat.club/cedar-ridge )
  • Opens full-screen like a normal app
  • Optional push for the same reminders as email (iPhone needs the home-screen app first)
  • Nothing to maintain in the App Store or Play Store

Push and inbox

After install, members can turn on App notifications for the same reminders they already get by email. Every alert also lands in the inbox inside the site— so a missed push doesn’t turn into “I never saw the role reminder” at the door.

  • Optional web push (iPhone needs the home-screen app first)
  • Inbox keeps role changes, meeting reminders, getting-started tips, and badge notices—readable even when push is off
  • Members can leave push off and rely on email plus inbox

Officer duty alerts

Titled officers get email for guest follow-up, meeting prep, and role changes— with matching push and inbox entries— so VPM and VPE tasks don’t disappear in a buried folder.

  • New guest signup and follow-up reminders for the VPM
  • President escalation when guests still need outreach
  • VPE create-next-meeting, prep, and role-change digest

Getting started and role guides

New members see Getting started tips in the inbox. The first time someone takes a role type, SpeakAtClub sends a How to do this role tip— so the VPE gets fewer “what am I supposed to do as Timer?” messages.
