Questions officers ask

Is this only for Toastmasters?
Yes. Roles, agendas, guests, and meeting night tools follow how Toastmasters clubs run.
Do members create accounts?
Officers invite or add people. Members sign in with a magic link from email. Guests can register themselves.
Can multiple officers use it?
Yes. Admins and Super Admins match Toastmasters offices, with playbooks for VPE, VPM, VPPR, Sergeant at Arms, and others.
How is club size counted?
Active members on your roster. Guests don’t count. Bands are estimates for now; we’ll confirm the rule when billing opens.
What if someone is in more than one club?
Each club pays for its own roster. If a member is active in two SpeakAtClub clubs, they count once in each. We don’t share or discount across clubs.
Is the first month free?
Yes for clubs with fewer than 10 active members once paid plans are live. That month is so you can try SpeakAtClub with your club and see if it fits, at no cost. It applies whether or not you were in beta.
What happens after beta?
The beta period is free and you keep your data. When we go live, beta participants get half off their size band for the first year. Clubs under 10 members also get the first month free. After that, paid plans follow club size (from about $4/month; estimates). We’ll email before anything changes.
What if we cancel?
  • Officers can open the site and view all data for 3 months.
  • Members keep read-only access for 1 month.
  • New members and guests can’t sign up; public links send people to Toastmasters International.
  • After 3 months the data is hidden; the public site still redirects to Toastmasters International.
  • A small archive fee keeps read-only access anytime after that.
  • Restarting a full subscription turns the live site back on and opens signup again.
